February and March GED testing dates open online

Those prepared to succeed on the 2014 GED test series, may now schedule testing in Grenada for February and March online through their ged.com account.

Test taker accounts must be activated and all alerts cleared before the function to schedule testing becomes available in the account.

Test takers will need to check their email frequently for communications from the GED Testing Service and will need to keep their contact information in the account current.

World Education Calls for Writings by Mothers Attending Adult Education Classes

JSI/WEI Photo Library Photo

"Hundreds of thousands of mothers participate in adult education classes across the U.S. Are you one of them? We invite you to share your story! This Mother's Day (May 11th), World Education wants to honor your efforts to improve your own and your family’s lives through education by publishing your story. We know that when moms go back to school the entire family benefits.

If you are an adult education student enrolled in basic skills, high school diploma/equivalent, ESOL, or college transition classes, we encourage you to submit your story! All writings must be received by Friday, March 7th, 2014."

2014 GED Testing Pending

We do not yet have open dates for giving the 2014 GED test and are not sure if we will be testing in Grenada before February. They have not yet given us needed transcript/credential printing access for the 2014 test. The State office sent an email on Jan. 7th that it may be a couple of weeks before we receive additional training for some of that with GEDTS.

Grenada Adult Education Center's Pearson VUE Authorized GED Testing Center is now set up as a public site. If you are wanting to test and have not yet set up your account at ged.com, go ahead and do that right away. There are several steps that you will need to do to set up your account, activate it, and then complete your account demographics data. Only after that is all done can you try to schedule your testing here online through your account. You will have to come in person to take the test, but the scheduling is done online.

As soon as they finish getting us set up for the new test, we will post an update on the blog and send out a tweet from @GrenadaAEC. At that point, test-takers could log into their ged.com account to schedule local testing. We are sorry if the delay is causing any inconvenience, but this is a widespread problem that the GED Testing Service is working to resolve. Thank you for your patience.
