The Grenada Adult Education Center is CLOSED for the annual three-week summer intersession break from Mon., July 3rd through Fri., July 21st.
The GAEC will reopen at 8 AM on Mon., July 24th.
April 2023 - Currently, GED testing fees are $30 per module ($120 for the entire four-module in-person test). The GED Testing Service has announced a $6 per module increase that is set to begin on July 1, 2023. Fees will be $36 per module ($144 for all four modules). Test-takers do not have to take all four modules at the same time.
When local testing fee scholarship funds are available, current students at the Grenada Adult Education Center whose practice test scores and other qualifications meet the scholarship criteria are able to have 75% of their first-time testing module fee(s) provided. Donations are solicited from the community to cover scholarship costs.
When a candidate earns his or her Mississippi high school equivalency (HSE) diploma, the initial diploma and transcript are at no cost via DiplomaSender. Fees are charged for replacement copies of each and for letters of verification/certification.
Effective March 1, 2023, DiplomaSender fees are increasing to $20 each for a replacement diploma or transcript or for a letter of verification/certification.
