Through Oct. 31st, the public can take half-price timed GED Ready practice tests from home to see if they are ready to succeed on any one or all of the four GED subject area modules. Visit ged.com for details.

Our Grenada Adult Education Center students are given GED Ready assessments paid for by the program when their instructors believe they are at the needed skill levels.

Soliciting donations of face masks
Our staff members have individually procured their own reusable cloth face masks, however, we anticipate some of our students needing to be given a donated mask for their own use. We would like to obtain a supply of clean new masks to be able to give to students who need them.
We are not currently holding in-person classes, but students are making appointments to come in to meet with their instructors and for assessments.

Announcement regarding June 2020 at the Grenada Adult Education Center
The Grenada Adult Education Center is reopening on a limited basis for the month of June 2020. (Not open during previous evening hours.) Practicing physical distancing and safety precautions are required.
No in-person classes will be conducted in June. Remote and distance instruction will continue.
Students may only enter the building by scheduling an appointment ahead of time. Students should call (662) 227-6101 or contact their instructor to schedule an appointment.
The building security guard will have a list. Only those with an appointment may enter. Do not bring children or visitors without an appointment with you.
Please wear a mask that completely covers your mouth and nose for the entire time that you are inside the Center.
Sanitize your hands by the front door immediately upon entering.
You must leave the Center and campus immediately after your appointment ends. Common areas like the lounge/vending machine room are closed.
No gatherings on the Center's porches, in hallways, parking areas, nor anywhere on the campus are allowed.
We look forward to continuing to help our students meet their learning goals during this difficult time.

Summer Session 2020 Update
Our May/June 2020 summer session will be conducted via remote learning. Current students will be able to continue their distance learning opportunities.
If you are an adult not currently enrolled but interested in participating, please email Priscilla Burns, Grenada Adult Education Program Director, at pburns@grenadak12.com to be placed on her list. She will contact you if the State authorizes enrolling new learners online for the summer session.
