Although official HSE (high school equivalency) exams must always be taken in person at an approved testing site, test scheduling IS done online. (Note that any offers similar to "take your GED test online" are fraudulent." Don't waste your money! Only practice tests can be taken online.)
Note that testing slots are limited. We normally plan to offer GED® testing two mornings each month and HiSET® testing two mornings each month at the Grenada Adult Education Center. (We will not be doing any testing during the month of July 2017 due to our three-week intersession break also combined with the state ABE conference that month.)
Testing dates at the Grenada Adult Education Center (GAEC) are currently open for GED® testing on February 14th-15th and March 22nd-23rd at https://ged.com. Up to two of the four GED® test modules may be taken per testing day if space is available. If nothing shows up, try searching for the shortest test module you wish to take by itself. If nothing shows up still, then all currently available testing slots may be full. Keep checking back online as candidates may cancel or move their testing appointments as long as they are more than 24 hours out before their test begin time.
Local testing dates for the HiSET® are currently open for February 21st-22nd, March 28th-29th, and April 26th-27th at https://hiset.ets.org/test-takers. Up to two of the five HiSET® test modules may be taken per testing day if space is available. HiSET® testing will be offered at our location for the first time in February 2017.
Candidates for HSE testing should be at least 18 years old and must be already officially withdrawn from K12 school, unless they are enrolled in a school district's GED Options program (Options testing is set up by their school).
