According to the school district administration, until the GAEC porch door area is upgraded for security, a security guard and visitor sign-in/sign-out table will be located by the front entrance daily. The front door is kept locked after students arrive in the mornings and the guard will let visitors in the building. If the security guard is briefly away from the entrance and the door is locked, phone 227-6101 or 226-7462 to ask to be let into the building.
Fall Session I classes are divided into class periods. Morning class periods are: 8:00-9:15 AM; 9:25-10:30 AM; and 10:40 AM - Noon. Students will be on break during the short time between periods. Afternoon class periods are from 3:00-4:45 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM.

Two Donated New Books for GAEC Student Library Received
A generous supporter(s) donated "Night Star" and "The Immortals: The Beginning - Evermore and Blue Moon," all by Allison Noel, to the student library at the Grenada Adult Education Center from the Grenada ABE online wish list (https://smile.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/2D24TWGIZ7ZFF or http://amzn.to/2cxqzve - see August 2016 issue newsletter article on page one). However, gift notes weren't included so we don't know whom to thank. Please email grenada_literacy@yahoo.com to let us know who our kind donor(s) is/are so that we can send a note(s) of thanks. Thank you!
