GED Testing Accommodations Request Deadline
We have received notice that the
deadline for submitting completed
GED Testing Service® Accommodations Request forms to local Chief Examiners
is on Tuesday, October 15th,
due to the length of time needed for the approval process and the November 1st
cutoff date announced by the GED Testing Service®.
To be accepted by our office,
forms submitted by the October 15th deadline must be completed
correctly with all attached documentation in order to be forwarded to the State
Office and then by the State to the GED Testing Service®.
The approval process usually
takes up to 30 days, however, the GED Testing Service® currently has a backlog of submissions.
If you need to request testing
accommodations, you must do it as soon as possible. Make an appointment with the local Chief
Examiner as soon as possible to pick up the appropriate forms for your disability
to take to your doctor for completion.
Remember that the current test series and all partial scores expire at the end of 2013.

New Student Registration Scheduled for Mid-October
LATE registration for evening classes begins Tuesday, October 15th, at 5:00 p.m.
We encourage everyone to study for and pass the GED test by December of this year before the current test series expires.
The test series that will begin in January will be more expensive, taken only in the computer lab, and more difficult.
This week is the last chance to register for free classes this year.
