DONATE YOUR "My Coke Rewards" POINTS
to help the Grenada Adult Education Center:
(1) Use your personal account with My Coke Rewards to enter codes from bottle tops and canned drink boxes and then donate points by clicking on "Donate to Your School" (midway down the page on the right). Chose the "Grenada Adult Educ. Ctr" and donate points. Point donations also give the Center one chance to win $20,000 in technology for every five points donated. (2) Drop your unused "My Coke Rewards" bottle caps and box codes in the jar in the front office at the Grenada Adult Education Center. We can enter the codes and donate them to the Center for you.

Thank You to Grenada County Board of Supervisors
We just received a letter from Grenada County Clerk Johnny Hayward that the Grenada County Board of Supervisors as made an appropriation of $25,000 to our local adult literacy program in support of our program operations for the 2010-11 fiscal year. Thanks to our Grenada County leaders for their continued support! Be sure to thank them at every opportunity!

Laptop stolen
The Room 6 classroom Dell laptop, purchased with 2007-08 AT&T Excelerator grant funds, was stolen from the Grenada Adult Education Center last Wednesday night. This equipment was used for adult literacy small group instruction. Anyone with information about this theft should contact the Grenada Police Dept. at 226-1211.
