Over the years, we have had several adult learners enroll at the Grenada Adult Education Center to work on their adult literacy and basic skills with a goal towards earning the GED after discovering that they spent their money on worthless "diplomas." This article does a good job of explaining how these fake diploma mills claim to be accredited but are not.
